That video's pretty funny. Glenn has some funny parts in there, and Joel's reaction to the video game. ;D When the guys are snapping there fingers in the microphone. You figure that Brendan would pull out the air bass, but instead he breaks out his air drums. ;D It sounds to me like Glenn's tambourine recording was for Crossroads, and the jam before The Spy sounds killer. Very Neil Young-ish. Hope is a new song. Arrows sounds like it has a horn section. I dunno. Either way, the chorus is amazing and it's a hell of a song. Here is the machine that was used to record the album: Studer A820 open reel My new liked songs in order goes: - Invisible
- Arrows
- Crossroads
- Midnight Cowboy
(Backup)Edit: To clarify, it's not the actual machine, just the same model.

I really like the EP. Crossroads is my favourite so far and I guess I'll be playing it to death the next days. :-) Also tried to figure out the great guitar of the chorus, but only got half way through.
I'm a bit disappointed about the video, there could have been about the music recording and more background infos instead of watching them playing video games.
But, yeah, all in all a very nice thingy. Very promosing. Bring on the next album!!! And live shows, please!

I have played the 4 songs really lot already. Crossroads is still my fave.I know that by the time the album comes out I will know these songs by heart. It will be a strange listening experience with the new and "old" songs.
Recently I listened taster songs from the new R.E.M. album months before release and it was funny to listen the album as half of the album was very familiar by the time of the release. This Bells-album will be a same kind of ecxperience.
The video promised the new album will be out in late 2011. No exact date. It´s probably still unclear whether there will be a record label involved? Anyway, based on the ep I´m sure it will be very good.
Happy birthday, timetunnel!

Arrows is my favorite out of this new batch of songs. Its fantastic.
Call me crazy, but I am not digging Crossroads. It's alright. The singing is kinda meh when compared to the other 3 tracks.
Also, its funny what mattchew said about Midnight Cowboy sounding like a 70s soundtrack haha. First listen it did sound a bit cheesy to me.
If I had to rank them...
1. Arrows 2. Invisible 3. Midnight Cowboy 4. Crossroads

I thought Midnight Cowboy was made after they had seen this movie. Like an imaginary soundtrack song. It came out in 1969. The song was a bit cheesy at first but it gets better after few listens. 60´s/70´s funky vibe is fun if it´s used only in one song.

I'd originally read this as May without thinking and was just a click away from chasing it up a week or two ago then I read that... So I'm hoping we'll hear from them fairly soon. BTW yesterday I found two of the tracks are now on the Bells myspace page playem sharem likem etc

I didn´t see any new songs in MySpace. All 5 were quite familiar. Just Invisible and Crossroads from the new ones and the rest were from debut and Radio Wars.

Hope you guys have got your stuff. If not send the band a message on their Myspace page - they usually reply.
I'm listening to the EP again after three weeks or so without hearing it, and it sounds even better now than when I first heard it. You pick up new things with every listen.

Still got no explanation as to why stuff wasn't done before 9-Jun disclaimer date from neither Band, Management or Pledge. Nonofem's even apologised yet. Still don't even know who's end it's been effed up at... My letter to trading standards is in the pipeline ... Howling shame TBH.NEWS - they did the track it's in the post. Asked for 'In the woods' in the end. Special Special Special. They can't do the T-shirt or Q&A for some reason & refunded me for those. Pledge say it's outa their control. But meh the track's the bit I cared about the most. I'll never hold any o this against the band. I'll post up a pic when i receive it, and maybe a few seconds of it...

Can't believe they're not doing a t-shirt or Q&A, but yes do share a few seconds once you get the track!
