Only 45% reached so far. This pledge-thingy is really slow and ,honestly speaking, it´s not doing much good is it? With this rate of new pledges they are not going to meet the 100% in 27 days.

Anyone else surprised they can't hit the 200 pledges they apparently need? Maybe they should've advertised it more or something.

I've currently got every faith that they'll put out an effing fantastic album & tour in Autumn and many ppl will wish they'd taken up some of these golden opportunities. Sadly HB's worth more money to me than I've got to givem. Also I think 15 squid's pretty reasonable to skype summathum for 20 mins when alone they've been on tour with the sortsa bands that they have nevermind the exeptional musical tallent. edit: link=> www.pledgemusic.com/projects/howling-bells <= coz I think there oughta be a link.

59% now - a bit of a surge. Like coasterwar, I wish I could pledge more. That guitar sounds good, but I haven't got £400 to spare.....

Yes, the number of pledges required does seem to have gone down, as it's at 72% now.
The guitar has gone too - it wasn't me!

A nice mention on NY music website musicsnobbery.com: www.musicsnobbery.com/2011/04/howling-bells-wants-your-money-finishing-third-album.htmlThe trend in music making in the "we're not making money" era is to pledge towards making the album. In the case of Australia's Howling Bells, they've done the hard work -- recorded the album in Las Vegas with Killers bassist Mark Stoermer. Now, they would like a little more fundage to deliver an early EP that will serve as a sampling of their third album.
You can head over to PledgeMusic and place a bid towards some available services from Howling Bells. For £15, you can have a 20 minute interview with the band, so guess who'll be stopping by the MusicSnobbery.com office. You may also pledge towards a t-shirt, a VIP pass to their May 8th show at London's Scala, handwritten lyrics and the big grab, you're [ouch!!] own personal DJ set.
The big thank you from the band is a stream of their new song, "Invisible," that is on that PledgeMusic page. Any new music from one of the most unappreciated bands in music is welcome.

To Chrome 3d: "Oh you of little faith" 87% now - great! First I didn´t have any faith, then a lot, then little, and now it´s back to normal level. It´s my first pledge and all. Luckily it´s all over now and in 4 days there will be something more. A real EP from Bells. Can´t wait.
