How good was this EP! Listened to it last night for the first time in a year or so. Every track is great and I can't understand how more didn't end up on TLE. I'd put Arrows and Crossroads up with some of my favourite HB tracks and for some reason Invisible has more of an impact on me when amongst these songs rather than hidden away at the end of TLE.
Really Good! - I regard the four tracks really highly, and see them as a snapshot of something perhaps a little different to The Loudest Engine LP and also to what went before. I was perhaps a little suprised not to see more of them on the album in some form or another; I'm not sure the recordings of the 3 songs as they are would have fitted in well enough with everything else on TLE... I also agree in that I find the song Invisible to have more of an impact when played first on the EP, I had at one time thought the album would start with it, but in a way it closes it very well.
