Howling Bells will be featured on Gideon Coe's show on BBC 6 Music on Thursday January 20th, 9pm-midnight UK time. It will probably then be available on BBC iplayer for seven days afterwards. Details here (at the bottom of the page): www.bbc.co.uk/pressoffice/proginfo/radio/2011/wk3/thu.shtmlIt says "concert highlights" but where and when from is not disclosed.

Thanks for the info Lee, I'll definitely be tuning in for this, hopefully it'll be a gig we've not heard before. Maybe it'll include some updated news???

It was slightly disappointing as it was something that has been broadcast before - Summer Sundae 2006. It was just four songs from the gig - Broken Bones, Setting Sun, Velvet Girl, A Ballad For The Bleeding Hearts. The previous broadcast was eight songs, in a different order to the above. If anybody wants a mp3 copy of either, just ask. And here's the link to Gideon Coe's BBC6 Music page if you want to 'listen again' (avalable for seven days). www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0072l9v

Juanita and Joel have just been on with Mark Radcliffe, and were on for just over 20 minutes. Mark started off playing Setting Sun, then Invisible halfway through and ended with Fleetwood Mac's Albatross. They talked about artichokes, Las Vegas, Mark Stoermer, skiing, wilderness, films, Joel living in Berlin and lots of other stuff. Here's the Listenagain link. It starts at 1hr 38mins: www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0100rp6/episodes/playerAnd here's a mp3 recording of the HB bit (22 mins): www.megaupload.com/?d=OPMKN66F

Maybe one day they'll make a website that actually works looked yesterday & it was all gone to shiz. Did eventually find a link to the new site but once I was on it got a trojan warning up off zonealarm. I'm thinking maybe crowdsurge's been hacked or summet... Also if you google howling bells new site isn't coming up, prhaps due to google's security alertings... Last literally LAST thing HB needs right now is website going silly. Howling out my hopes that this gets sorted pronto!

Me don't know what me's gonna do.

Maybe U could go to a record store and ask if they're gonna be stocking it, if they can resrve u one or maybe they'll even order one in for you. Not done this before personally. I have spent 4 hours after work chasing round the local malls/shops etc looking for Vines Future Primitive on it's UK release date, and was rather gutted to be home buying it in 'lo-fi' on i-tunes that night...

Sent Cooking Vinyl an email a few days ago, telling them the pre-order was kicking me butt out, they have not responded yet. There is another store online that if I have to will buy from there instead. Here is Future Primitive cd, maybe. Says online, but it also says audio cd, so who knows what it is. maybe it's the cd tho.
