Sounds cool. I wonder which direction they will take this time. Radio Wars was quite a surprise after their debut album, so what will it be like this time... more pop, more rock, more...?

I hope it will be more spacey this time instead of the pop direction of Radio Wars. Mind blowing sounds promising.

Chrome, I second that. I really like Radio Wars, but it wore off a bit after some time - in contrast to the debut album which sounds still as great and unique as on the first day.
Houdini, that sounds veeery good. My anticipation grows...

LP within half a year of an EP release? It's not unheard of but in my experience smaller bands usually end up either canceling the EP (like HB did with Cities Burning Down EP) or postponing the album. Unless it's an EP single. We'll see I guess.

I guess you can call that an EP, yes =) But I was referring to the pre-Radio Wars plans that the band had, to put (a different, earlier version of) Cities Burning Down out with a few other songs way before the album. Much like the new plan, really. I think they wrote Cities Burning Down fairly quickly after finishing the debut so that was really more of an "in between albums" kind-of-song. We ended up not hearing anything about the EP and found out Cities Burning Down made it to the new album instead (and was released as a single/EP/type-thing).

I think the Cities Burning Down EP with the different remixes was on download only. I don't remember it being issued as a 'hard' copy. Can somebody confirm this?
The 7" vinyl has only Hearts and Armor on the b-side.

Nice, if they're planning on releasing an EP that soon (within the next 3 months) then plans might be concrete and it might actually happen. (off-topic: new radiohead, yum yum)
