I saw that name Piper Ferguson and thought, "Isn't that the guy who directed the Cities Burning Down video?"
Indeed it is. And there's a link on this page to the "Director's Cut" of the video. I was intrigued to see if it was any different to the 'released' version. So I clicked on the link and all it did was make my computer run slower than Sammy the Crippled Snail.
However, all was not lost. Despite the video never appearing on my screen, I looked in my "Temporary Internet Files" folder and there it was, a .mov file, which I was able to copy and paste to somewhere useful.
So I could watch it after all and there are quite a few differences to the one we've seen before - Juanita brandishing a petrol (gas) hose for one. I wonder why there's a "Director's Cut" and a 'published' one?
If anyone has the same 'computer locking up' problem that I did let me know and I'll upload the video somewhere.

Hey nice. I clicked on that video too and had the same problem as you, so I just closed it up. So if you can get it to us, I'd kinda like to see that.

Here's the link to the "Director's Cut" video. www.megaupload.com/?d=040YCAS3It's 45.9MB so it'll take several minutes to download, depending on your broadband speed. The clarity of the video is superb - you can count Juanita's individual eyelashes!

I've had some fun with these two videos - I managed to get them synchronised in two different media players to see exactly what the differences are.
There are two different sections - ten seconds from about 1m25s in and fifteen seconds from about 2m00s.
The first different section shows leather-clad Juanita with the guys on the bikes. This is when she squirts the fuel out of the nozzle!
The second different bit shows Juanita (in leather again) in front of a background of water.
In both cases the 'as released' video is just the band playing in these sections.

When you hover over the (not working) video link with your mouse it gives the title of the video at the bottom of the page:

Definitely cool! I'm glad they didn't keep the first part in the original. It was a little corny. I like the second part though, where Juanita was superimposed in front of the water. That was pretty much awesome. Good thing you caught that or it may not have been seen for quite some time. That would make a good youtube video blade. You ought to post it up there.

You know I've never posted a single thing on Youtube. I suppose I could learn how.

Yeah, mattchew, I agree with velvetgirl. You have this uncanny knack of finding stuff. I'm trying my best to upload that video to youtube. I've set up an account and followed the instructions, but all I get is this: Pending: Your video settings will be saved once your video has finished being uploaded.Being a youtube virgin, the upload page isn't the most user-friendly, because there are 'upload' buttons in two places and it doesn't give you any idea of upload progress (a moving bar or an increasing % figure). It must be a lot easier than it appears to me because countless millions do it every day! But then I am a dinosaur. Ha! I've just checked again and it says: Success: Your video settings have been successfully saved.and the link is www.youtube.com/watch?v=SwnpSxmLYQoI'll check that to see if it works!! [Edit] It might have worked - the youtube links says This video is still being processed. Video quality may improve once processing is complete. Is this usual? I'll check again soon. [Edit2] Shit. It now says An error occurred. Please try again later. Have I done something wrong? Doesn't it like .mov files? Can anybody else get it to work?

I got an error message. I don't know whether or not youtube accepts .mov. Most of the files are flv.
