is being used to promote the new 8 GB iPod touch! I know it's a bit random, but I get excited when I see bands I know on iPod ads store.apple.com/us/browse/home/shop_ipod/family/ipod_touch?mco=Nzk2MDUxNQI wonder if they'll use a Howling Bells songs in the television adverts? If they do get a song featured in an iPod ad, that'd be great because in the US, those ads are really influential. They're what made the Ting Tings so popular over here (in hindsight, kinda wish they didn't--couldn't go anywhere without hearing "that's not my name")

Any ad like this can only be good. There are hundreds of examples of ads being great for a group's exposure.
But $199 for an ipod? I thought they were supposed to be cheap! I'd much rather spend $199 on CDs if I was given the choice.

Yep, this ad can only be a good thing--hopefully it'll make people check them out so when they do come and do their own proper tour, I won't be the only one at the front singing along! I'm going to keep my eyes (and ears) peeled to see if a song off radio wars is used for the t.v adverts for the iPod--because that would be really great exposure for them here. If they are, I'm thinking "Into the Chaos" or "Treasure Hunt" would be good candidates--this is all speculation of course, but I think it'd be really cool for the band to be featured this way!

I have seen the iPod ad with Radio Wars cover many times. I even took a print screen jpeg out of it only to discover that it has been mentioned here before. Well, better late than never. This is good exposure to the band and it tells something that at least Apple people think that it looks stylish enough.
