I read and understand your policy about not allowing leaks of the albums on this board, but how does anyone feel about the b-sides? I ask because some of these are exclusive to the vinyl single releases only as extra tracks and I do not have the equipment or expertise necessary to digitize the tracks from vinyl onto my computer. If this is an acceptable practice on the board and if someone is willing to upload any b-sides in FLAC or MP3, it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

My, you've been busy! Welcome saturnine!
We've had several new members in the last week or two, most of them from the US, and you're the second in Atlanta. The other is lefty721.
Yes, vinyl b-sides converted to mp3 have been posted here - The Spirited Ones, Hearts & Armor, Highway 99, False Eyelashes. And we're still waiting for somebody to convert Stories, the Digital Hearts b-side. Send me a PM if you want any of these.

What do you mean by PM? So, lefty721 is from Atlanta too...and left handed. I thought left handers like us were meant to be burned at the stake years ago.

Yep, I'm left handed and in Atlanta! I just saw Howling Bells for the second time when they opened for Coldplay at Lakewood last month...you didn't happen to be there did you?

Unfortunately, I didn't go. I was busy, but I was at Lakewood the week before for the NINJA tour aka Nine Inch Nails and Jane's Addiction. It's strange...I always miss them within days. When I first started listening back in 2007, I went to the Fox Theatre Pumpkins' shows and overheard a couple talking afterward about The Killers show a few nights before. I had realized in that moment I'd forgotten Howling Bells was the opening act. Of course, I'm not really interested in The Killers or Coldplay. Ticket prices are too high to pay for wanting to see Howling Bells only. I wish Howilng Bells would consider an independent small venue tour of select U.S. cities.
