The Howling Bells photo caption competition has concluded. You can see the winners here: blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendId=29851910&blogId=498166491and all thirteen pages of entries (246 of them) here: www.facebook.com/photo_comments.php?aid=126913&id=13480186258&s=0&hash=bdee67ba5386b5edc78de942645ea9b8The only name I recognised from Chasing Lullabies was mattchew, who entered loads of times but didn't win. Sorry to embarrass you pal, but here's one of your entries: Dude, I see a turtle, and there's a cat standing on it. Do you see it? No, see his tail is right there? And it looks like he has an apple in his mouth. You see it? Oh, and then there's a guy on a motorcycle! No, he's right there, see? No, right there! Dude, ok, look right there behind the cat and you see that part sticking up right there? That's his helmet, and then look down over there and you can see the back of his bike, and there's his feet right there. Do you see it? Ok, let me get your picture.Better luck next time, old son! I thought the best caption was by a guy called Derek, who wrote, "Juanita, please marry me!". We (single males) can all concur with that thought!

Yeah I was really hoping to win a prize pack but there's no shame in not winning. I tried! I had to create a facebook account as I had never before been on that site. I'm sure I'll drop by every so often to see what's new with the band. Really, I just got enjoyment out of doing all those captions and if I could make a few people laugh along the way, then I am happy. I'm sure I also infuriated, disgruntled some people but those are personal issues stemming from insecurities compounding within themselves. I can identify. From this experience I feel closer to the band, coming from brainstorm f those images and trying to create something I thought would fit. I mean, I didn't even know all the band's names until I started doing that. It was a good relaxing, leisurly activity to engage in, and I learned of it from your thread blade. Thanks!

Good for you! And I had an enjoyable fifteen minutes reading your efforts. At least you used your imagination and had a go - unlike me!

I didn't recongise too many names on the facebook comp from here either, i guess usernames/names can be completely different though!
I had a stab at it too: "Cooler than Coldplay sippin' on a milkshake in a snow storm" - a shot of the group mid way through theiur support set.
What was the prize pack do we know? I was absolutly frothing for it, but never mind!
