There is something seriously wrong with the site at the moment. It has been there for couple of days. There is this text with Razorlight twitching on top of the page but that makes the whole page twitch and refresh constantly. It was impossible to click on a link because of the twitching. I wasn´t able to see any topics as it defaulted back to frontpage after every twitch that happened in 2 or 3 seconds. Only after I clicked help and then came back it stopped as the banner with twitching Razorlight was changed to something else. I don´t know if that was the problem but anyway get it off now whatever it is!
I´m using Vista and IE7, if that is any help.
---------
ADD. The only way at the moment to use the site is to click help from top of the page and then come back. That is the ONLY way that I was able to use this site. After clicking help the site is "calm" and doesn´t refresh after every 3 seconds as the twitch is gone. After clicking the other links the page refreshes too fast and it defaults back to frontpage.

No it´s not. It´s still refreshing every 3 seconds. The site is unusable at the moment.

I've no idea what the problem is. I don't have it any more but I'm on a different PC to usual.

It's still doing it on my home PC - constantly refreshing the page every couple of seconds. On the PC at work it was fine.
Does anyone else have the same problem? What's causing it?

I can't be arsed to install a new web browser so I'll have to wait for proboards to replace the offending ad. Your explanation sounds plausible, in that it's OK on some PCs but not others. Glad to hear it's nothing you've done Lee!
If anybody is experiencing this problem, hit the 'Help' button near the top of the page, then after the Proboards window comes up hit 'Back' and it seems to re-set everything and then it works fine.

A bit late but if you ever have problems with ads again, just get Firefox along with a little add-on called "NoScript" that removes any and all advertising (well, like 99%) from all websites. It's lovely browsing around without seeing ads everywhere I don't see any ads on the forum, for example.

Agreed! Don't use Internet Explorer. It's bad in adhering to web standards (which means it doesn't show everything the way the web designer intended to) and a huge security hole. Use Firefox. The whole surfing experience is so much better. And you will be a lot less exposed to potential virus, rootkit or worm attacks.
As for the ads: You probably meant "Adblock Plus" instead of "NoScript"? Because NoScript doesn't block ads, it disables JavaScript. Anyway: with Adblock Plus I see a clean, ad-free forum and never had any problems here.

Yeah I actually mean both... I've got BlockSite as well for those hard-to-get-rid-of popups (usually the same sites, so I just block the sites completely). I guess Adblock Plus has been taking care of most of the ads, but NoScript has been taking out all of the more... "advanced" ads on Myspace and such =] Plus yeah, I think I surf about double as fast as I do on IE right now EDIT: No wait, I have AdBlock disabled right now. Which means that NoScript has been taking out all of the ads - and I do mean all of them, I haven't seen ads since ages ago.

The trouble went away for me a long time ago. I have to think about Firefox more. I just use IE out of habit.
