TRACKLISTING: Howling Bells - 'Radio Wars' 1. Treasure Hunt 2. Cities Burning Down 3. It Ain't You 4. Nightingale 5. Let's Be Kids 6. Ms Bell's Song 7. Golden Web 8. Into The Chaos 9. Digital Hearts 10. How Long This is according to: strangeglue.com/music/howling-bells-on-second-album/3197Is this legit though? The fact that the track "Radio Wars" isn't on it has me questioning it, and "Spiders" (a new one played on tour), I guess perhaps that's "Golden Web"?

No. something doesn't seem quite right does it? Juanita mentions "Spider" (singular, not plural) in the Repeat Fanzine interview you've posted, and Radio Wars should surely be there. And I seem to remember Lee seeing somewhere that Into The Chaos was track 9, but it's 8 on this list. Add Radio Wars and then it might be No.9.

^ Yeah, something doesn't seem right about this I would think that "Radio Wars" would be on it--especially since it's the title track, and Juanita made "Spider" sound like too good of a song in the interview for them to have made it a b-side.

Maybe they've just changed the (working) titles. The song wasn't called 'Radio Wars', but 'Radio Wars Theme'. It's possible that it is Ms Bell's Song now, which sounds more than a working title then 'Radio Wars Theme' by the way Lee saw the track number of 'Into the Chaos' on an mp3 file in the internet, i think. It's not a real source in my opinion. Only 10 tracks... We want more

Review copies have obviously been sent out to various music writers because the altsounds reviewer has listened to the whole album, so the tracklisting must be right. But then he mentions a song called "Save Me", which isn't on the listing (??).
It's a great review, by the way.

^ Oh, okay, then I guess it is then! Thanks for clearing that up Lee!

Hasn't that image been doing the rounds for ages, even back to the latter end of the first album ? My brain (sat at work with no way to check my PC) seems to recall having it stashed away already ?? {/confused} edit: yeah, it was being used at least as far back as during the Summer Sundae live shows in August. Knew I'd seen it somewhere ! On another note, the promo cd PLUS promo instrumental cd were sold as a pair on eBay for £24 - bargain or what !

Sorry for my rookie mistake if that´s just an old promo pic.

Sorry for my rookie mistake if that´s just an old promo pic. It might turn out you're right yet - until we get an unveiling ( if the new 'official' 'site' ever updates) then it could still go either way ! The promo on eBay didn't have a picture sleeve so we couldn't get any clues from there either.

Thought it was a bit mad putting promo copies out so early - it was bound to lead to the inevitable...............
.....and it has already.

So... has anyone else heard it yet? At this point I've still not succumbed but I'm liable to. I just don't understand why the disc was out so early - even with all the best view on human nature any exec must have known that the album would leak once the shiny thing went out? They surely don't think it needs this much lead time to generate hype, do they? {shrugs}

I don't check the forum for a few days and suddenly I see this. Holy ****.
Listening now (don't worry, I'll buy this the second it's out) - it's good so far.
Golden Web is brilliant - some of this experimental stuff (almost Radiohead-ish) is great. It's definitely more colourful and varied than their debut.

OMG OMG OMG!!!
Pretty easy to find the link on the net. This was sure to happen one day, wasn't it? But so soon?
So "Spider" is called "Golden Web" acutally and the Radio Wars Theme is a very short part of "Ms Bell's Song" only.
Just to make it clear: I'll definitely buy the album, promised and 100% for sure. I wish there was an online store led by the band itself - I'd rather buy from them instead of Amazon or the like, in order to give the HB as much revenue as possible. If they had something like a PayPal button somewhere I would even pay them some €€€ now already - as kind of "pre-release leaking fee" and X-Mas present... ;D

Hold your horses people. I haven't heard it and I'm not going to search for it. You could say that I'm jealous that you've heard it and I haven't, and I guess that would be right. But it goes against the grain somewhat that this board has a policy of not making available links to illegal Howling Bells recordings and then we're talking about it as if it's already there for everybody to listen to above board. Maybe we should hang back on any discussion of the new, previously unheard, songs until after March 3rd or until they appear on Myspace or somewhere. If you disagree, say so.
