I was in the office this afternoon, and radio 2 was on playing the usual dirge, when a song came on that I recognised. It turned out to be Howling Bells! It appears that Steve Wright likes the song 'Into the Chaos' ;D

Oh dear. Howling Bells on a middle-of-the-road radio station. What's the world coming to? Should we be worried? Here's the show on Listen Again if you're bothered: www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00fhldc/Steve_Wright_in_the_Afternoon_18112008/Into The Chaos comes on at 1hr56m55s and all Steve Wright says after he's played it is, "I very much like that." OK Steve, stick to playing Lionel Richie and Luther Vandross.

Ah well, I don't too much, as a band I like is getting day time air play

Yeah, I suppose you're right, and I remember seeing on another thread that Setting Sun was played more than once on Radio 2, but probably not on the daytime show.
