Westwood Ho - Posted: Fri Jul 13, 2007 11:27 pm Yup, you heard me, & f**k it was worth the wait. Just known as "new song" for now" (audience asked for suggestions for title). They slipped it in a couple of songs before the end at the Guilfest tonight (Friday 13th).
Im not a festival person at all but that was quite a quaint little shindig. Made better by having a Margherita tent opposite the Bells stage.
Yes their set was a good one again a good appreciative audience only marred by the sound of "the ordinary Boys" wafting over.
So cheat, swindle, steal your way into Latitude just for the "new song" because it will be a little while before you hear it live again.

village bug - Posted: Sun Jul 15, 2007 9:38 pm OMG an entire new song!!! How did they find the time to write that?? Can anyone describe it? This news is up there with sighting the Yeti or the Loch Ness Monster. I don't suppose anyone at Guilfest or Latitude had a recorder?
I almost missed this thread amongst the stuff. Title didn't come out red as Westwood intended. Swamped by links to stars' genitalia. Maybe there's a title in there somewhere.

Which song did it sound like ? that is difficult because it sounded completely different in my view. A slow fast song with Glen thumping the floor toms in the chorus & Joels intricate bits reminiscent of the sound of "The Passions". I could have recorded it but as I said the Margherita tent was near & I could just about manage a couple of photos before having blurred vision. Sorry techno kids......................
