Date: Sunday September 6th Location: Myrtle Park, Bingley, West Yorkshire Details: www.bingleymusiclive.com/banddetail.php?ID=19I've never heard of this festival before - there are no really big groups playing but a few well enough known ones - Editors, Reverend and the Makers, The Zutons, Toploader, The Undertones, The Doves. And a fair few years ago I used to live not half a mile from here (for four years) and I'd wander through Myrtle Park on warm summer evenings. There were no festivals there back then.

I hadn't heard of this one either, but with Howling Bells AND Editors, we are now seriously considering it. Plus, the tickets are really cheap (for a festival) - may as well go for the whole weekend. Accommodation will have to be paid for though.

Bingley isn't renowned for its hotels (but my ex-local the Brown Cow used to have rooms above the pub, and excellent Timothy Taylor's beers). Bradford is only five or six miles away and Leeds not much further.
And Bingley is the home of Damart thermal underwear, so if it's cold you'll be laughing.

We've booked weekend tix for the festival! ;D
Checked out the Brown Cow but not showing rooms to let any more. We'll probably stay in Bradford somewhere.
