Man I loathe Razorlight, I wonder if I could just pay the see the bells then split when Johnny Bovril and his boys come on . Hope it helps the bells get more exposure , but I also hope theres no duet with Horse features either

I have no time for Razorlight either but I won't hear a word said against Johnny Burrell. He's a mad keen cricket fan and anybody who likes cricket is OK by me!
Hey Howling Bells (and mattcambie) we're going to win those Ashes back! (Don't think any of the Bells are cricket fans though - but don't all Aussies like cricket, especially when they're playing we Poms?).

you have to admit though, howling bells have never done anything as funny as that video where he's lighting all the matches

Bovrils up his own arse " I wasnt born a genius" Says Johnny . Spot on there, no mate you werent . I hear Idi Amin was a keen cricket fan too Now I might have a word or two to say aginst him ? Neil Hannons got a new cricket related musical project The Duckworth Lewis Method. Now that might be worth checking out and we'll leave Johnny to his mirror kissing

I've been looking for reviews of Howling Bells supporting Razorlight but haven't found any yet. Only this about Razorlight's performance from their own fan message board. Oh my, this chap thought they were crap! razorlight.forums.umusic.co.uk/t/346.aspxBoy was this a disappointment!! I have been so looking forward to seeing Razorlight but this was such a let down. Don't get me wrong the music was great, good songs and an OK running order but there was just no atmosphere - the band just did not connect with the crowd at all. Johnny said two words to the crowd all night and just when it looked like they were going to interact and really get everyone going (Golden Touch sing a long) the boys backed off. America could have been massive but was just a let down and the encore was, frankly, embarrassing. In my opinion it is massively egotistical to put your latest single in the encore unless it's a truly massive hit - Hostage of Love is not!! Johnny strutted and pouted around the stage all night rarely acknowledging his paying audience and the other guys showed the personality of wet fish. At one point as they crowded around each other self indulgently playing to themselves we almost had to collectively say "Hello... we're still here!" Frankly a massive disappointment - going through the motions is a massive understatement!!
