This might be the place to ask... I have been on www.howlingbells.net and have tried a few times now to purchase the mp3 versions of The Spirited Ones and Hearts&Armor, but it always says "Payment Failed", I do have enough funds and what not so I am lost as what to do! I have the B-sides on the vinyl singles but I want to be able to listen to them on the go. Ps: I think The Spirited Ones should have been on the album!

Here's mine - vinyl, albums, singles and promos. I've a couple more compilation/label albums with Bells tracks on but I can't find them! Hey there - whats that CD on the far right bottom row next to the SS promo cd? Is it another copy of Low Happening? Ive never seen a cover like that before... I'm going to post my photos in a mo - really annoyed I've lost my copy of the Setting Sun promo - just bought a replacement.

Yep, it's an official Low Happening single - I'll drop the details in here when I get in from work as, frankly, I've forgotten what's on it and where I got it from - doh ! Actually, just found it online - it's the top one on here from 2006

This release of Low Happening was very much under the radar. It came out in 2006 (don't know exactly when), yet I remember it being advertised as being available on download only in December 2005. Xanthein's website confirms the December 2005 download release.
The CD release escaped me - I would certainly have bought it if I'd known about it. Strange, as I was in email contact with (then) manager Grant Thomas at the time and was on Bella Union's mailing list.
I've saved all my emails from back then. I have one from Grant Thomas dated 29th January 2006 telling me the FIRST single Wishing Stone was coming out on February 27th, and I have another from Bella Union on February 27th, saying that the DEBUT single Wishing Stone is "out today". I remember sneaking out of work while the boss was away to go to HMV in Meadowhall shopping centre to buy it!
Blessed Night was released on 1st May 2006 and Setting Sun came out in August 2006 (I don't have an exact date). The Low Happening re-release (although it wasn't advertised as a re-release) was 5th March 2007. Does anyone know the date of the first Low Happening release? I've always wondered how I missed it.
By the way, it's very interesting looking back at all those emails from Bella Union, when everything was still new and fresh and nobody knew what the future would hold......

I've got a purple sleeve in the Radio Wars font. The mixes are not anything special at all, but maybe its because the original version is just so perfect haha

Just to be sure, this is then Blade´s collection. I have a question to the different editions of the albums. From the pic I can see that you have an edition of the Howling Bells album in a Digipak. Is it a special edition with more tracks? I love Digipaks, but I don't where to get this version. And I will soon buy Radio Wars, is there only a Digipak version or also the jewel case? There's also a deluxe edition, but it's too expensive for me.

I've just had to google 'digipak' to find out exactly what one is, and I've discovered that that's exactly what I have. I bought it on the first day it was released (May 2006) and as far as I know that was the only thing available at the time. I don't know what other formats there are.
The Radio Wars that many of us here bought is also a digipak (I think), also called a 'book version', with a few pages of photos in the middle, and signed by all four band members on the front.

I found something that could help me: 2006 Howling Bells [Digipak] CD Liberation LIBCD7173.2 2006 Howling Bells CD Bella Union BELLACD114 So your edition is maybe the australian one from the label "Liberation" and not "Bella Union". The signed Radio Wars is also great.
